MIT OpenCourseWare | OCW HomeOnce in a while something happens that makes one realize how wonderful this Internet thing is. Once in a a while a web site opens up that shows us just how much potential is on the web. MIT postes 500 of it most popular classes on its web site. This is great stuff for those in the educational community. MIT promises to expand this program to include their whole curriculumn. Hopefully other schools will soon follow. Whats available is the lectures, past tests, and full lectures. This is how MIT describes the program:

Welcome to MIT's OpenCourseWare:
a free and open educational resource for faculty, students, and self-learners around the world. OCW supports MIT's mission to advance knowledge and education, and serve the world in the 21st century. It is true to MIT's values of excellence, innovation, and leadership.

MIT OCW:

Is a publication of MIT course materials
Does not require any registration
Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity
Does not provide access to MIT faculty
