Wal-Mart symbolizing political divide
This Boston.com artcle describes how the Walmart support is often divided into Democrat Republican issues. Th Democrats often speak out againt Walmart, and the Republicans tend to support Walmart. Wallyworld supports Republicans with more than a million dollars of support in the last 2 years. At issue are lower paying jobs and resisting unions. What has frosted me towards Walmart isn't just their love of purchasing Chinese goods, but their quiet turn around from the days when they bragged about being "Made in America"
