Houston Chronicle Headlines

I was very surprised to see as a headline on the front page of the Houston Chronicle Smoking ban fails to clear air outside doorways. With all that is going on, this is what they find most important in the day. They are trying rally the tobacco police and get enforcement on these dastardly acts. Maybe, those folks at Chronically Biased have a point when they note that the Chronicle doesn't seem to have any capability of reporting on Enron's Ken Lay. I suppose they need something for their reporters to write about and this one is pretty easy. No searching for victims, and the story is just downtown. Secondhand smoke victims are a lot easier to interview than Ken Lay
