If you're interested in WWII/Churchill history, take a look at the Cabinet War Rooms. I'm into that stuff and found it interesting.
If you've never been to London and aren't particularly interested, go do the main stuff (Buckingham, Crown Jewels, etc.)
No matter what you do, leave yourself some time to have a couple of pints in a non-tourist pub. They have some good beer.
