A court found that the maid of James Jackson, a vice president of legal affairs at Sony Pictures Entertainment, was entitled to more than $850,000 to settle charges of enslavement and assault and battery.
The jury found that Nena Ruiz was kept against her will and Jacksom paid her only $300 for a year of work at his Los Angeles home.
