Space Race 2004
The Xprize competition is a real race. Perhaps a dangerous one. The Space Transport had a spectacular explosion last month during an engine test. They are forgining ahead undaunted, as if they are reinvigerated. The Da Vinci Project is recieved a cash infusion with the sponsership of Goldenpalace.com an online gambling casino. A few days ago they had a successful test of the ballooon, that provides the first stage of the their launch system. They have scheduled their first attempt at the US Ansari X Prize for Oct. 2.This is only a couple days later than Burt Rutan's attempt on Sept. 29th, SpaceShipOne is the only craft that has actually passed the 100km barrier. This is an exciting race that will be unfolding in just a few days.
