There is anew new Houston blog, that looks pretty promising. It reminds be of Chronically Biased, because they seem to have the same axes to grind Their take on Lite Rail seems familiar.

We'll do our fair share of media crit for sure, including the Chronicle. In fact, that's been a little heavier than I expect it will normally be the last few days (we're kind of reactive in that regard). But I also want to do plenty of local political stuff, and just "fluffier" stuff about living in Houston.
The CB folks do some Houston stuff, but they're all over the place, and much more ideologically set than we hope to be. Our model isn't really what they're doing, but more along the lines of the now-defunct LAexaminer.com site run by Ken Layne and Matt Welch. Those guys rocked. Still rock, just on their individual sites now. :)
