Really enjoy your BLOG - Need to rant about the incompetent actions of our US Senate Majority leader - Frist.
Senator Frist is probably a decent - at least successful surgeon, but his political acumen is abysmal. He is so used to working with ethical, honest people - that he has no conception of the way politics really works.
Can you imagine Lyndon Johnson allowing the black eyes to the US Senate that Frist has allowed. Frist needs to realize that polticians will do anything to advance their own interests and to hell with the country. Just look at the lame comments about dedicated lifetime servants of the country and the smear campaign against honest jurors, just for the sake of politics that he has allowed.
Frist should get control of the majority and then straighten out the ratifications of Bush's nominations. "Lead or follow, but at least get the hell out of the way", run for president on your own time - not the US Senates.
