Campain Update
Things are starting to pick up, and I believe we are a real contender. Its no small feat taking on an incumbant for a State Rep. position. I am low on resources and lots of folks don't even know what the Libertarian party really is. Still all and all its not going bad. The Galveston Daily news gave me me some good press about a questionaire I filled out for them. I think I came out pretty well in it. I was also at the forum hosted by the Galveston Bar Assosiation held at the new Galveston Justice Center. I don't know if the folks there really took to my main qualification of "I am not a lawyer." but I mean it, a practicing civil lawyer is naturally going to have conflicts Representing the people of his District. Eilands claim that he is the most experianced may be true but it doesn't hold validity. I will quickly learn my way around, and of the Representitives were freshman at one point. I think after 12 years it is time to move on.That will be up to the voters to decide.
