Victoria Olsteens Suit Moves Forward

Her trial moves on, and from reports I've seen, I think she is going to pay. I had a commenter that tried pretty hard to post a link to her image, but wasn't having much luck. It's worth seeing. I hope her family enjoys the consequences of her actions. Perhaps a lesson is learned.

Things are apparently progressing — slowly — in the lawsuit against Victoria Osteen filed in September: The Chronicle is reporting that the attorney for a flight attendant accusing Osteen, the wife of Lakewood Church pastor Joel Osteen, of assault wants to have the interior of the airplane where the incident occurred photographed.

This all goes back to Dec. 19, 2005, when Osteen reportedly went ballistic about some liquid that had been spilled on her first-class seat on a Continental flight bound for Vail; passengers on the flight said Osteen ran up the aisle and began banging on the door of the cockpit and that several flight attendants had to restrain her. Eventually, the Osteen clan was thrown off the plane. Though Osteen denied the whole thing (despite reports from fellow passengers and an FBI investigation that said it did, indeed, happen), one of the flight attendants — Sharon Brown, who claims Osteen pushed her and elbowed her in the left breast — filed suit against Osteen. Brown is seeking compensation for physical and mental injury she says she sustained during the encounter.

I plan on suing the flight attendant for giving me a stomach ache because of her stupidity. Plus, now I am afraid to fly because of her. I want 10% of her flight attendant pay. I think the flight attendant is a racist and is suing because the Osteens are white.

Have some respect to a flight attendant. Flight attendants are there for yr safety and for the safety of the flight. We are in Orange level threat. All passengers traveling by air should be abide by the rules and regulations of the airlines and FAA. FAA fined Victoria and FBI report was completed it did happen. Can I say one thing? Just a common sense....a breach of the flight deck (trying to bang the door or get near the cockpit door) is considered a high level threat for the flight. Passengers should know no one is allowed nearby the cockpit area during the flight. This is just a common sense. This was the reason why Victoria was asked off the plane. No airlines would want to delay the flight without a good reason. It cost the airline A LOT.

I don't care if Victoria Osteen is guilty or not. I don't know, but it is REALLY, REALLY worth 10% of her net income? Please. I want 10% of the net income of the guy who cut me off in traffic last week, or of the person at the grocery store that was rude when I checked out....blah blah blah blah blah. This is a ridiculous law suit. Period. Where are the criminal charges that were filed for assault? If she wasn't rich this wouldn't be an issue. I'm really sure that the money will make up for this woman's "faith being shook" right?

Why does everything have to do with suing? Flight attendant need to get paid more. Maybe if they did, they might not have sue the passengers! Well, I guess, Ms. Brown is not doing for the money or she might have sued for 100%!!! Have a great flight! But remember stay in your seats no matter what!!
